Heart for Aidan Walk

Very sadly, we feel it best to defer our planned Heart for Aidan walk in June.  Too much is uncertain at present for it to be sensible to continue.

Aidan is always so very strong in our hearts, and we will set a new date for this walk when we can all join in without being troubled. Thank you everyone for your replies

We will let everyone know when we have a new date.

We would love you to join us in remembering and honouring Aidan. There will be a 5km return walk, starting and ending at Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood. We will have a picnic together at the end.

For those of you who might like to run or cycle and cover more ground, you can continue along the Cooks River pathway and turn back at whatever point feels right. For those of you who prefer to come along and share in our remembrance and get together, but not do the walk, you can stay at the picnic ground until the walkers return.

Everyone welcome!

WHAT TO BRING:
A picnic lunch – there is a barbeque area if you wish to BBQ, otherwise just pack a sandwich and some drinks.
Comfortable walking shoes
There is some seating at the picnic ground but you might like to bring chairs and/or a rug.

IN THE EVENT OF WET WEATHER:
Everyone is invited to our home in Hurlstone Park. This is only 10 minutes drive from the park. We will update you all on wet weather arrangements close to the date if this is needed.
